Dear Rosscarrock Residents,
Spring is here and we brought in the season with a hugely successful Community Clean Up on May 17th with Westgate Community Association. Residents from both communities brought items to ‘Give and Take’ and throw away. Thanks to the City of Calgary for providing the support and services and all the Westgate and Rosscarrock volunteers involved in the planning and in participating at the event.
There has been a lot of activity regarding the West LRT Expansion in the last few weeks. We really need to hear from the community. Tell us what you think. Are you in favour of the LRT going through your community? If so, why? If not, why not? What are your concerns? How will the line affect you, your commute to work and back, access to services and businesses? Let the Community Association be your voice.
The Rosscarrock Community Association Annual General Meeting is scheduled for June 19, 2008. Come out and hear what has been happening in the last year. Volunteer for a position whether it is as a Board member or as a volunteer for an activity. Let us know you are interested in participating in your community. Be informed. Make a difference.
